Short stopover

A good start, in the first night on a parkingplace next to a camper where we kinda got woke up in the morning by a friendly french lady. She stood there, with a pipe in her mouth in the door of her camper. „Bonjour!“ almost too loud for that time of the day, but with a big smile on her face. „Café au lait et le sucre?“ We looked at each other and just answered with a smile back and in a way to bad french (which is almost 99% of what we can say in french) „Bonjour… oui… merci madame …“

With our first coffee and our first human contact in France we enjoyed sunrays in the morning and watched the lady walking across the parkingplace with her dog.

And then…Ok… France was more like a crossover as we were much more busy with looking for places to sleep than anything else. Over to this nice morning we spent the next two days with driving through the country in search for a place to stay.

In conclusion we luckily ended up in the house of a good friend close to Nice were we had a great time with good food and lots of alcohol. Thank you very much Yann!

White Valencia

Close to Valencia we found a Family for Couchsurfing. Heidi, Juan and Pau welcomed us warmly from the begining. We stayed there for 3 nights and at our last day Joan cooked us a real Paella which was amazing.

From there we took the subway into the city and found that beautiful station called Alameda. After a nice walk through a park we explored the City of Arts and Sciences near the harbor.

We had a great time in Valencia. Thanks again to our hosts for the great hospitality and a wonderful time.
