Trip to Mont Blanc

Three weeks ago we were in Switzerland when a friend called us and asked if we have a picture of the White Mountain. We said no, but we're not far away from it...

Mont Blanc is with 4,810 meters above sea level the highest mountain in the Alps. We've been in Zürich at that moment, so we started early the next day in the direction of France to take a picture of Mont Blanc

On the road with Adobe Creative Cloud

Some of our followers ask us, how do you do that, travel, take pictures, edit pictures and handle life?

We are now 2.5 years with our offroad vehicle; OK, it was first a van, on the road.
Of course it's not that comfortable as living in an apartment.

But that's not what we want. We love the life we chose.

For us it is the infinite feeling of freedom.

Our offroad vehicle, a 30-year-old Isuzu Trooper is pretty comfortably equipped. We sleep in a roof tent, the best bed we ever had, refrigerator, stove, cooking stuff, fresh water...

What is in our car? Sony Alpha Cameras, Sony Xperia Smartphones, MacBooks, the Adobe Creative Cloud, LaCie Mobile Hard Drives, lots of batteries and clothes.

We're only shooting RAW. The pictures will be imported, viewed, rated and edited in Lightroom. The finish of the pictures takes place in Photoshop.

Recently we're also working more with mobileshots.
The workflow between smartphone and desktop is the perfect way through the Adobe Creative Sync.

With Lightroom CC we realize a very comfortable and easy image editing on mobile and desktop. The synchronization is seamless and it's way easier and faster posting our final images on social media.

It’s important for us that we don't have to be constantly online. With the Adobe Creative Cloud, you have to be looged in at least 1 time in 90 days, which is more than enough.

It's all much debated in positive and negative ways.  We think, everyone has to find his own needs and ways.

For us it's a perfect solution with which we love to work.

Our favourite places are in the middle of the wilderness, at rivers, lakes, by the ocean or in the mountains up to 3.000 meters altitude. We love the silence.

Time in nature is very important and inspiring for us.

Oh! It’s Gaga’s Mom

We had some problems the first time we wanted to get into Bosnia and Herzegovina.

As it was pretty late and getting dark, so we wanted drive quickly to the country and find a place to stay for the night. First thing was that Christof just drove through the border control without noticing the stop sign, so that the croatian police had to call us back. Actually the policeman was a little bit pissed in the first few seconds and told us to park the car at the side and we were already thinking like „great, now he will completely check out the car in every single corner and we will stay there for hours“.

Lucky guys… he turned out very kind was just telling us that he could have charged us something arround 400€ just for that „mistake“ and we should never do that again. Christof apologized a lot and we were fine to get to the police of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Then came the thing that they wanted to see the green insurance card for the car to get into the country. Well, hmm… we forgot about this thing totally.

The result was just to turn arround and… wait for it … Yapp!

After 5 days more in croatia we finaly went further to Bosnia and Herzegovina. There we found this georgeous nice little garden next to a river, which was the place of Gaga’s mom. She welcomed us to stay there for one night with her great smile and a nice coffee and a bottle of Raki…

So we stayed there at our first day in Bosnia and Herzegovina until the sunset startet and had nice conversations with her and Gaga.
